Cherry Mania
Have you ever wondered what a fruit's life would look like if it was a human person? This mixed-media printmaking series explores the chaotic wonders of how a cherry's life cycle could be illustrated through three collages. From Seed to Blossom to Fruit and back through again. Cherries deserve their own romantic comedies, don't ya think? Materials Used: Watercolor, POSCA paint pens, Acrylic paint, colored pencil, glue, glittter, stonehenge paper, stencils, and ACUA ink

Etchings
Lightly pressing into copper plates, polishing with gentle hands, wiping, soaking in acid, rinsing under cool water, wiping again, inking up, scrubbing circles with tarlatan, and rolling through the press. Etching was the most tedious and impressive artistic process that I got the pleasure of learning. While sometimes incredibly tiring and frustrating, the traditional process opened my eyes to a very detailed and repetitive work that can be very therapeutic to do. With a "Daydreaming" self portrait print series, and a more storybook-like etching of a berry and a flower, I learned just how important etching can be in the printmaking world (and exhausting).

STUDIO ASMR
Me, in the printmaking studio, trying my hardest to get the contact sheet off of my copper plate. I had to soak my plate in an acidic mixture for the lines I pressed in to be etched deeper. The contact sheet protected the back of my plate from the acid. You can briefly see the inked up sketch on the other side of the plate.
