POETRY

My first steps into the fun and cathartic world of poetry were taken during my first year of college. The world was going through a global pandemic, my school was going through apocalyptic wildfires and icestorms. My life felt unreal. So, in my first Creative Writing class, I chose to create this zine as my final portfolio. It embraces my rollercoaster of emotions at the time and the it uses a bit of nonsense to convey real and relatable feelings. Enjoy!
